The saga continues…
Dad loved the Dukes of Hazard vintage watch. It was really nice to see the grandparents as well. I know Grandpa wrote down a lot of his childhood memories of the depression about a decade ago. I talked to him and he is going to type some of it up and send it to me for editing. It is heartwarming to know my ex-English teacher turned mill industry specialist is still interested in writing.
On the way home James and I realized we needed a little father’s day gift for our stepdad, Stephen. Since Stephen helped James pull off the doorknob to his room (that he was locked out of) we are going to get him a lockpicking set tomorrow morning from home depot. It’s more of a joke gift and we will have to get up early for it, but James is all for it so I’m game. It’s amazing the lengths one will go to once they get a good (or at least passable) gift idea.
